So, I was fiddling around in my attic this morning thinking I should decorate a bit for Valentine's Day....
(okay, maybe I was procrastinating....) I found a box of vintage doily place mats and my mind started twirling...they have aged perfectly ( like a smooth bourbon or wheel of brie) ....hmmmm....
And, voila! Introducing the "Tag you're my Valentine" pinwheel!

Very pretty pinwheel! I never knew there were doily placemats. Another thing to look for when garage sale season starts!

I'm so glad I saw this! I was given some doily place mats and have been trying to think of something clever to do with them, and this is exactly the idea I needed! I love the silhouettes too.
